Scott Zupfer is a lifelong angler and respected leader in the Northern Minnesota fishing community, known for his skill, integrity, and friendly, down-to-earth approach. He began fishing at just five years old and quickly developed a passion for the sport that would shape his life and career. Over time, Scott honed his expertise through years on the water and competitive tournament circuits, eventually earning eight 1st Place finishes and more than 30 Top Ten wins in regional and statewide fishing competitions.
After building a reputation as one of the area’s most knowledgeable multi-species anglers, Scott founded Zup’s Guide Service, LLC to help others experience the same joy and success he found on Northern Minnesota’s lakes. As a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed and fully insured guide, Scott leads trips on iconic waters like Lake Winnie, Leech Lake, Red Lake, and Lake of the Woods—targeting walleye, crappie, northern pike, jumbo perch, smallmouth bass, and sturgeon depending on the season and bite.
